Q: What is the key to being successful in business?

Surrounding yourself with good people you can trust.

Q: How much has your industry changed from the time you started to now?

CPA firms have changed dramatically in terms of how technology allows us to be more responsive and help more clients.  One thing that has not changed is experience.  You see a lot and learn a lot over 30 years.

Q: Did you see yourself in accounting as a child?

Not at all.

Q: What advice would you give any aspiring businessman looking to start a company?

Always hustle and find ways to create value for those who support you.

Q: What is your greatest accomplishment as a businessman?

The long-term client relationships and trust my clients place in me.

Q: What makes a good CEO?

Vision and accountability.

Q: The local economy has had its ups and downs. What general advice can you give?

Be smart, be bold and deliver value.

Q: If you could describe your company in one word, what word would you say?

Trusted.

Q: What are your future plans for your company?

To provide excellent service and advice to those who honor us with the opportunity to serve them.  My goal in every client engagement is to provide quantifiable value over the amount of fees we charge.
