A 34-year-old Thibodaux man was arrested this morning following the execution of a search warrant as part of a narcotics investigation.


Just before 4:30 a.m., the Thibodaux Police Department’s Narcotics Division and the Department’s Incident Response Team conducted a search warrant in the 100 block of Narrow Street. The search was part of a narcotics investigation that was ongoing.

Upon executing the warrant, Jarrett Evans, 34, of Thibodaux was found inside. He was taken into custody without incident.

Authorities found over a half-pound of cocaine, more than $1,800 in cash and assorted drug packaging materials in the raid.


Evans is charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bond has not been set and the suspect remains in the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex.
