Drug Arrests Made in Village East

The Terrebonne Narcotics Task Force performing proactive patrol in the Village East subdivision on Wednesday, Feb. 26 around 6:30 p.m. observed suspicious activity that resulted in the securing of a search warrant. Arrests were made and drugs, along with weapons possessed illegally, were recovered.

 

In relation to this case agents seized in excess of 21 grams of marijuana; a bag containing about 8.84 grams of heroin; Cyclobenzaprine Hydrochloride pills; two stolen .40 caliber pistols; three digital scales and sandwich bags used for distribution; $2,510 in U.S. currency and $400 in counterfeit currency.

 

The following individuals were arrested and booked at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex:



 

Michael Joseph Steward, 23: Resisting an officer; use of controlled dangerous substance in presence of persons under 17; carrying a weapon in presence of controlled dangerous substance; possession with intent to distribute heroin; drug paraphernalia possession; illegal possession of stolen firearms.

 

Sade Nicole Williams, 27: Monetary instrument abuse; transaction involving proceeds from CDS activity; stolen firearms possession; paraphernalia possession; stolen firearm possession; possession with intent to distribute marijuana and also heroin; possession, sale or distribution of a legend drug; illegal carrying of a weapon in presence of CDS.

 

Byron Jaquad Ross, 20: Possession of marijuana and of paraphernalia.



 

Malik O’Keef Pharr, 22, CDS in presence of persons under 17; weapon in presence of CDS; sale, distribution of possession of legend drug; possession with intent to distribute marijuana and heroin; paraphernalia; stolen firearm; transactions involving proceeds from CDS.

 

Nehru Alfred Davis: 19: Marijuana possession; paraphernalia.

 

Raquwon Richard, 19: Marijuana possession; paraphernalia.



 

A juvenile was also taken into custody.
