A Thibodaux fast food employee is arrested and charged with forgery after allegedly collecting customers’ information and using it to make fraudulent charges.

On October 18, TPD began an investigation into fraudulent charges made on debit/credit

cards which were used inside Thibodaux city limits.

As the investigation unfolded, it was learned that an employee of a local fast restaurant in the 300 Block of North Canal Boulevard had been capturing personal debit/credit card information from customers.

The employee, identified as Sharnae Every, 24, would take the information and then make fraudulent charges to the cards.

A warrant was issued for Every, and on October 22, she was located and arrested.

Every has posted a $10,000 bond.

Thibodaux Police would like to remind our community partners to be mindful when monitoring their bank statements. If any fraudulent or questionable charges are ever located, please report this immediately to the correct jurisdictional agency.
