Law Enforcement Seeks Help Capturing Bank Robber

New Orleans – The FBI New Orleans Field Office and the New Orleans Police Department are asking the public’s help in identifying the person who robbed the Chase Bank, 201 St. Charles Ave., New Orleans, LA 70170.


On Monday, March 2, 2020, at approximately 11:15 a.m., a man entered the Chase Bank, approached the teller counter and demanded money, claiming he had a gun. He then took the money, an undisclosed amount, and fled the bank on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’5” to 5’10” and approximately 150 to 170 pounds. According to the FBI, he is approximately 35 to 40 years old, with a medium build, and brown eyes. He was wearing a black sweatshirt with white letters, blue jeans, and a black baseball cap. He also carried a black and blue backpack.

Crimestoppers GNO is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information which leads to the arrest and indictment of the subject responsible for this crime.
