One of Lafourche’s ‘most wanted’ men arrested, taken into custody

One of the most wanted men in Lafourche Parish is now in custody.

Yesterday afternoon, the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office sent out a media alert saying that they were aggressively pursuing Daronti Wesley, 20, a wanted suspect with 8 active warrants out in Lafourche Parish.

The warrants were issued for various charges to include aggravated flight from an officer, resisting an officer with force or violence and illegal possession of stolen things.

Authorities also said Wesley is a person of interest in a recent homicide, stating that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Shortly after the release was sent out, LPSO announced that they’d arrested the suspect, taking him into custody.

He’s being held on a $381,050.00 bond for all of the warrants.
