Police investigating shots fired at Stovall Street area in Houma
Houma Police responded to the area of Stovall Street in reference to multiple shots being fired on Wednesday, Jan. 23.
The suspect or suspects responsible were unable to be located upon arrival.
Houma Police spoke to witnesses in the area who said they heard several shots, but when they looked outside, no one was seen in the area.
As the investigation continued, Houma Police patrolled the area, checking adjacent streets, but were unsuccessful in locating other suspects.
Later during the night, Houma Police responded to the area of Stovall Street once again after a resident learned their home was struck from the earlier gunfire.
Houma Police detectives are investigating and would like assistance from the public.
