Lafourche Parish District Attorney Kristine Russell announced today that two men were indicted on second-degree murder charges for their alleged roles in the May 2019 murder of Kirby Courteaux.
Russell announced the indictments of Terance Dupre, 22, and Devante Matthews, 21, in the case that she presented to a Lafourche Parish Grand Jury on Thursday morning.
Dupre and Matthews are both scheduled to be arraigned on Friday, September 13th, and are being held at the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex on a $1,000,000 bond each.
If convicted, 2nd Degree Murder carries a mandatory life sentence.
