Jaime Pineda, 86, a native of Bogota, Colombia, and a resident of Houma, La., died at 8:35 a.m. Tuesday, July 8.
He is survived by his wife, Madeline Authement Pineda of Houma; three daughters, Elizabeth Domangue and husband, Travis, of Bayou Vista, La., Carolyn Champagne and husband, David “Dave”, and Patricia “Tricia” Pettingill and husband, Mika, of Broussard, La.; one sister, Margarita Robledo of Bogota; six grandchildren, Danielle Alfred, Amanda Coyne, Shannon Coyne, Grant Domangue, Ryan Coyne and Sean Pettingill; and one nephew, Ivan Robledo of Coral Springs, Fl.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Heloise Pineda; and his parents, Gabrielle Pineda and Librada Quientero Pineda.
He was former co-owner of Star Printing. He had a passionate love for music and dancing and an interest in science. He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
He was buried at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
