Former Louisiana Lieutenant Governor and current Commissioner of Administration Jay Dardenne will visit Nicholls State University on Tuesday, February 18 to give his presentation “Why Louisiana Ain’t Mississippi,” which will showcase how Louisiana differs from every other state.
The presentation will provide a look of Louisiana’s geography, demography, history, culture and politics and include a “whirlwind tour of every parish, laced with fact, lore trivia and music.”
The event will start at 12:30 p.m. in the Peltier Auditorium, and admission is free.
