Terrebonne General Medical Center has hired Kirbie LeCompte, RN, as its new Director of Employer and Consumer Health.

The hospital announced the hiring today in a news release sent out to local media.

In the new role, LeCompte will implement strategies to engage individual consumers and employers through outreach wellness and screening programs, direct to employer programs, and digital healthcare programs.

Lecompte is not new to the TGMC team. She most recently served as the TGMC Wellness for Life Manager where she took a proactive approach to preventative health and well-being.

She cultivated the Wellness for Life and Well and Wise programs, as well as health and wellness initiatives to area employers and the community.

She also has an extensive background in nursing, management and employee benefits.

“We are excited to have Kirbie in this new role to advance our strategies towards the future of community health,” said Phyllis Peoples, President and CEO. “Kirbie’s previous experience in wellness and prevention and working with a broad spectrum of our community will be an asset to our new program.”
