Terrebonne General Medical Center is honoring Aaren Clay as its March Employee of the Month.
Clay has been a TGMC employee for more than three years, working in the IT Department as a Clinical Project Coordinator.
TGMC names its employee of the month each month in an effort to recognize outstanding employees.
Winners are chosen when they demonstrate outstanding and constant commitment to the wellbeing of patients, their families and staff.
Three years ago, Clay took over as a TGMC Clinical Project Coordinator.
Those around her say that she immediately jumped into the role with enthusiasm and a proactive attitude.
During the time of Clay’s hire, TGMC shifted to a new electronic medical records system and Clay had several major assignments to ensure a smooth transition. She accepted those challenges and earned praise from her colleagues.
“I work with an amazing group of people in both IT and Laboratory,” Clay said. “We’ve been through a lot of changes over the past couple of years. It’s been an extraordinary team effort to get where we are today.”
