Early voting begins on Saturday

Are you ready to make a difference and let your voice be heard?

Early voting for the October 12th election begins on Saturday, September 28 and runs through Saturday, October 5, closed on Sunday, September 29. Anyone that is registered to vote in the October 12th election can choose to early vote. 

This election includes the offices of governor, State Senate and House, parish president, sheriff, local council members and more, including constitutional amendments, tax renewals. Sample ballots are available at www.geauxvote.com.

In Terrebonne Parish, early voting is completed at the Registrar of Voters Office in Government Towers. The entrance is on Gabasse Street and there is ample off street parking in the lot on the same side. 

In Lafourche Parish, early voting is completed at three locations around the parish: the Registrar of Voters Office, 307 West 4th Street, Thibodaux; Mathews Government Complex, 4876 La. 1, Mathews, and the Galliano office at the South Lafourche Library, 16241 E. Main Street, Galliano. 

Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at all locations. Be prepared to show your picture I.D. and know how you will be voting.
