Entergy Louisiana’s website is reporting 4861 customers without power in Terrebonne and 464 in Lafourche parishes.
The outages stretch along Hwy 311 in Houma in the neighborhoods of Sugarwood, The Lakes, Ellendale; along Bayou Cane, including the northern portion of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.; and north along West Main and West Park, stretching into Gray and Schriever.
Entergy’s website indicates power should be restored by 7 p.m.
