The Terrebonne Parish Library System invites all adults to their after-hours event on July 27 at the Terrebonne Parish Main Library, 151 Library Drive, to celebrate the latest season of “Stranger Things.”

Enthusiasts (ages 18 and older) of the Netflix show will explore the ‘Upside Down’ by enjoying an array of “Stranger Things” and 80s-era games and activities such as an original library-style ‘Defeat the Demogorgon’ scavenger hunt, Back-to-the-80s trivia and retro board games.

The free public event, which starts at 6:30 p.m., will also host Dungeons and Dragons sessions in which all skill levels are welcome.

Attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite “Stranger Things” character or in their best 80’s attire, however, costumes are not required.

The library will also provide refreshments with their ‘Eleven Eggos’ waffle bar that will include waffles and a variety of syrups and toppings.

The event is sponsored by Friends of the Terrebonne Public Library. Although it is free, anyone attending is required to register beforehand here
