NAME: Sarah B. Forsythe

AGE: 24

TOWN: Thibodaux

PROFESSION: Educator

HOBBIES: Basically anything crafty

WHAT IS A TALENT THAT YOU HAVE THAT FEW PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT?

I am very creative when it comes to organization. I am a stickler for organization and I have a system for nearly everything. This talent is especially handy in the classroom!

IF YOU HAD TO SPEND A YEAR ON A DESERTED ISLAND, WHAT ITEM WOULD YOU TAKE ALONG?

I would say I’d have to bring a lot of yarn and a crochet needle, or a very, very large Sudoku book. These two things are my must-haves when it comes to a lot of down time. Crocheting and puzzles keep my mind busy enough to not lose interest, but also calm at the same time.

YOUR’RE A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR LOTTO WINNER. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

I would buy a big house as close to Disney World as possible!

WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL? WHY?

My mother is definitely my biggest role model. She is the most fantastic mother, wife and teacher and I look to her for advice on nearly everything in life.

IF YOU WERE A SUPERHERO, WHO WOULD YOU BE AND WHAT WOULD YOUR SUPERPOWER BE?

I’d have to be The Clone, and my super power would be to be in more than one place at a time!

FIVE PEOPLE – PAST, PRESENT OR FUTURE – YOU’D INVITE TO DINNER?

Walt Disney, Audrey Hepburn, my grandfather whom I’ve never met, my grandmother so she could see my grandfather again, and my future child(ren).

TV GUILTY PLEASURE?

Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder! TGIT, guys!

PROUDEST MOMENT?

This is a toss up. When I was nine years old, I won a scholarship program and was a Louisiana state titleholder for a year. I traveled to other events and represented Louisiana and met a ton of girls my age. The moment I won was by far one of my favorite accomplishments. But on the same note, walking across the stage at my high school graduation as a valedictorian was equally as grand of an accomplishment in my eyes.

BEST ADVICE YOU’VE EVER BEEN GIVEN?

I don’t know if I would call this advice or just a good habit that I’ve made for myself, but I have always been taught that when things get tough and I feel like there is nothing more I can do to make them better, always, always, always pray about it. Give it all to God and He will take care of everything. If you do that, things will always work out!

5 FAVORITE SONGS OF ALL TIMES?

“Down” by Jay Sean

“Wild at Heart” by Gloriana

“Friends” by Michael W. Smith

“Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King

Bascially the entire Frozen soundtrack…

WHAT’S ON YOUR NIGHTSTAND?

Medicine and charging cords for my phone and computer.

WE ALL HAVE THEM, GUILTY PLEASURES. WHAT’S YOURS?

Coffee, specifically Starbucks, and coffee-flavored Haagen-Dazs ice cream!

IF YOU COULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN, WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY?

Absolutely nothing. Even with all of the left turns I’ve taken when I should’ve taken a right, I wouldn’t change a thing about my past.

HOW DO YOUR FRIENDS DESCRIBE YOU?

I think my friends think of me as creative and loyal.

DESCRIBE YOUR DREAM ADVENTURE?

Anyone and everyone who knows my husband and me knows that any adventure that we go on will take place in Disney World!

I WISH I COULD ____ BETTER.

I wish I could chill out better. My anxiety is definitely my biggest weakness and sometimes I just wish I could turn my brain completely off and chill out.

BEST MOVIE YOU’VE EVER SEEN?

My favorite movie is Frozen! I just LOVE Olaf!

BEST BOOK YOU’VE EVER READ?

The best book I’ve ever read is “How to be a Hepburn in a Hilton World.” The book is basically about how to live life with a little more class and a little less sass.

WHAT IS ON TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST?

Spend a night in Cinderella Castle in Walt Disney World! But since that is nearly impossible, I would love to stay at the Grand Floridian resort as well!
