Ghost and ghouls, beware!

The Houma-Thibodaux area will host multiple Trick or Treat functions over the next few days leading up to Halloween. Here is a list of a few family-friendly activities to enjoy:


Trick or Treat Around the Track

Oct. 29, 6-8 p.m., Terrebonne High School track, Houma

Children ages 11 and younger can enjoy trick or treating around the track with an adult. Teen hangout and drop-offs are not allowed. Admission is $1 and one canned good per family. Candy and prizes are free; concessions will be sold. 


Treats at the Track

Oct. 30, 6-7:30 p.m., Vandebilt Catholic High School track, Houma

Presented by VCHS Hope Buddies, Treats at the Tracks is a free event, open to all persons with disabilities ages 5-22. Fun includes games, face painting, music, treats and more. 


Mona’s Kids at Heart

Oct. 30, 5:30-8 p.m., Courthouse Square, Downtown Houma 

Enjoy a fun night with the Krewe of Cleopatra! Dress up in your favorite costume and bring your family for trick or treating and the lighting of the pumpkins. 


Trunks of Treats

Oct. 31, 6:30-7 p.m., First United Methodist Church, Houma

The Annual Trunks of Treats features treats, popcorn, a cupcake walk, bounce house, inflatable obstacle course and more. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be sold for $1. Please no scary costumes.
