February 15, 1945 – April 3, 2020

Patricia Daigle LaRose, 75, a native of Klotzville, Louisiana and resident of Houma, Louisiana passed away on April 3, 2020.

She is survived by her son, Robert LaRose (Jolie Ann LaRose); daughter, Robin LaRose Porche and husband, Claude Porche; grandchildren, Austin Felarise, Gabrielle LaRose, Garrett LaRose, Gavin LaRose, Codey Porche, and Cara Porche; and great-grandchildren, Elianna Porche and Keeyon Brown Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Daigle and Carrie Daigle.

Patricia was a daughter, an aunt, a mother, a grandmother and a great-grandmother. She was also a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

Not only did COVID-19 take her life, it took away the last moments that her family could have with her. Her children couldn’t hold her hand to say they were there for her. Those moments were stolen away by the restrictions and limitations that this horrible pandemic has required to safely protect everyone involved.

The family appreciates the thoughts and prayers received from everyone. Though we cannot gather for a service at this time with all who we wish to be there to put her to rest or celebrate her life please join in our family’s prayer, as per her wishes:
…You need not fear
The terror of the night
Nor the arrow that flies by day
Though thousands fall around you
Near you, it shall not harm
And he will raise you up
On eagle’s wings
There you are
The breath of dawn
Make you to shine like the sun
And hold you in the palm of his hand
Fall to his angels . . .
