Veterans board president thanks Terrebonne voters for support

The Veterans Memorial District Board would like to thank the voters of Terrebonne Parish for renewing the millage that supports the Regional Military Museum on Barrow Street and the Veterans Park on La. Highway 311.

We hope the positive vote will result in the completion of the museum and some significant improvements to the park.

We believe the people of Terrebonne Parish feel that the money collected so far has been wisely spent. The museum is a credit to the city of Houma and, like the park, is a memorial to local veterans.

The museum draws visitors to Houma. If any Terrebonne Parish citizen has not yet been to the museum, this letter should be considered an invitation. We think you’ll like what you see!
