Her freshman season is complete; Traya is a rising sophomore in the Lady Privateers’ program.

SCHOOL:


Traya is a South Lafourche High School graduate and a University of New Orleans standout.

SPORTS PLAYED:

Traya is a women’s basketball point guard for the University of New Orleans. At the high school level, she also was a track and field athlete, but at the collegiate level, she is just a women’s basketball player.


STATS:

Traya averaged 7.1 points and 2.1 assists per game as a true freshman last season. She led the team in 3-pointers made and vas the team’s third leading scorer.

GOALS:


“To keep getting stronger so that lean help my team as much as possible next season.”

Traya Bruce is one of the best women’s basketball players in the history of the Houma-Thibodaux area. A four-year starter at South Lafourche High School. Traya shattered the school’s record books, while also leading the team deep into the Class 4A State Playoffs for four-straight seasons. Nov. she’s a collegiate starter and is looking forward to three more big seasons at the next level.
