Someone throw some water on Houma native Justin Williams.

Because recent results show that there’s a good chance that he’s on fire.

The Terrebonne High School graduate and professional baseball player has continued his strong season this past week with some of the best games of his professional baseball career.

Williams, a AA prospect of the Tampa Bay Rays farm system, went 3-of-5 with three home runs on Wednesday night for the Montgomery Biscuits – just 24 hours after he had another home run on Tuesday night.

For the season, Williams is hitting .303 with 14 home runs and 69 RBI.

In his past 10 games, Williams is even better, hitting .400 with four home runs and 13 RBI.

For his efforts, Williams is moving up the charts among the top outfield prospects in the Rays system.

A recent rankings list had the Houma native in the Top 10 of Tampa prospects, listing him as a future Big League-caliber player.
