Beverly Jackson Freeman, 83, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 12:32 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017.
Mrs. Freeman was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She and her husband were the owners of Peg’s Food Mart. She enjoyed fishing and going to the family camp, and she never left family or friend hungry.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Larry Freeman Sr.; children, Larry Jr., Carla (Chris), Tamela and Thomas (Connie) Freeman Sr. and Jenny Grasso; brothers, Earl (Judy), Neal (Ann) and Darrell (Roxanne) Jackson Sr.; sisters, Arleta and Janie (Jack) Guidry, Norma Loker and Cherylyn (Sterling) Marchive; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
