New chapter of ExposeDat: Suit alleges conspiracy by top officials against Houma couple

1. SOUTH LAFOURCHE: I had an opportunity to watch the Lady Tarpons this past week during their game with Bogalusa. Those kids can play. South Lafourche is loaded with talent all over its roster. They won’t be easily beaten by anyone.
2. ELLENDER: The Lady Patriots are one of the top teams in Class 4A. There’s no question about that. I think locals are anxiously awaiting the team’s first matchup with South Lafourche to see how the District 7-4A crown may swing.
3. HOUMA CHRISTIAN: The Christian Warriors have a lot of depth for a Class 1A team, and they’re extremely battle tested. Their resume is as good as anyone locally, which makes them a serious contender to win it all.
4. SOUTH TERREBONNE: Everyone seems to be waiting for the moment where the Lady Gators take a step back to the pack in Class 4A. But guess what? It’s not happening. South Terrebonne continues to cruise and continues to show everyone that they can compete with anyone.
5. THIBODAUX: It’s hard for me to be objective about the Lady Tigers, because I’m close friends with coach Ashley Adams, and I’m so proud of the way the team has recovered from a slow start. But Thibodaux can play, and Coach Adams can coach. They’re going to make some waves.
