Kenneth “Wild Turkey” Paul Hunter, 64, a native of Lockport, Louisiana, and resident of Raceland, Louisiana, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2014.


Mr. Hunter was a former member of Raceland Volunteer Fire Department No. 5 for 16 years, and member of the Lockport Carnival Club, chairman of La Vie Lafourche and Knights of Columbus, Annunziata Church in Houma. He retired from AMCO and Bollinger Shipyards of Lockport. He was an avid fisherman and an organ donor, contributing his eyes.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Ledet Hunter; children Hope Hunter, Kimberly Bankston, Tiffany Hunter, Jamie McAnally and Brandi Porche; mother, Marie Boudreaux Hunter; sister, Pat (Gordy) Dominique; brother, Robert (Brenda) Hunter; and six grandchildren.

Burial is at Holy Savior Catholic Church.
