Lafourche chamber to host awards banquet tomorrow

The Lafourche Parish Chamber of Commerce will honor several award recipients at its annual banquet tomorrow.

Chad Boudreaux of Joe’s Septic Contractors has been named Business Person of the Year.

Vision Communications has been named Business & Industry of the Year.

Andrea Pitonyak-Delcambre of South Thibodaux Elementary School has been named Educator of the Year.

Fourchon Oilman’s Association has been named Community Hero.

The chamber will also award its Ambassador of the Year – the name of whom has not been released.

Louisiana Public Service Commissioner Scott Angelle will serve as the event’s keynote speaker.

The event, taking place at the Larose Civic Center, serves as the chamber’s year-end fundraiser, which includes a silent auction.
