Under the leadership of CEO Greg Stock, Thibodaux Regional Medical Center has soared. The hospital has achieved countless awards, including the 2018 Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award for Outpatient Services, the 2018 Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award, the 2018 Women’s Choice Award for America’s Best Hospital for Obstetrics and many others. The hospital has also expanded significantly, growing in both its services and outreach to the community. Two years ago, Thibodaux Regional Medical Center opened its Wellness Center and since that time, thousands of locals have used the facility to stay active. In the coming years, Thibodaux Regional will open a new, state-of-the-art cancer center in an effort to again change the local medical landscape.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?

“Helping “build” a great hospital where the patient experience is consistently at the top.”

Who are your greatest influencers? How do you feel knowing that others list you as theirs?

“My mother (heart) and my father (use your head). Also Ron Structness, a regional vice-president with Hospital Corporation of America, who helped me learn the role of CEO, when I was 28 years old. It’s a great feeling to know that people believe you’re making a difference.”

How are you going to impact the Bayou Region in 2019?

“I have several things I would like to accomplish with Thibodaux Regional: Build a state-of-the-art Cancer Center; Complete Phase II of the Wellness Center; Achieve high levels of employee and patient satisfaction; Develop additional healthcare services.”
