Terrebonne General Health System announced the fall meeting dates for its Well and Wise program, a free educational and inspirational six-month program geared towards adults ages 60 and over. Presented by the Foundation for TGMC and Terrebonne Council on Aging, the program is designed to entertain, educate, and empower adults who are struggling with mental and physical health challenges, and chronic diseases.

The meetings will cover a plethora of topics, including nutrition, prevention, and educational topics led by Terrebonne General experts. Experts will also discuss heart disease, bone health, prescription education, healthy lifestyle, and much more.

“Good health helps ensure independence, security, productivity, and overall happiness, which is why the TGMC Healthy Lifestyles Center created the Well and Wise program,” reads a statement from Terrebonne General Health System. Well and Wise will meet from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. on the following dates:


  • Wednesday, July 27
  • Wednesday, August 31
  • Wednesday, September 28
  • Wednesday, October 26
  • Wednesday, November 30
  • Wednesday, December 28

Guests will enjoy complimentary breakfast, games, prizes, a weight loss challenge, senior fitness discounts, a free grocery store tour guided by Registered Dietitian Michelle Briceno, and a graduation ceremony upon completion of the course.
