Terrebonne General Health System is preparing for the next Wise and Wise session which begins on Wednesday, January 25!


 

Well and Wise, The Foundation for TGMC and Terrebonne Council on Aging, is for residents 60 years and older and is a six-month program that is held on the last Wednesday of every month. The program includes health education from Terrebonne General physicians, fitness activities, cooking demonstrations, and everything in between that helps educate older residents. The program also includes preventative screenings, games and prizes, and breakfast. 

 

There will also be a free grocery store tour at Cannata’s guided by Michelle Briceno who is a Registered Dietitian with the Terrebonne General Weight & Diabetes Management Clinic. The date for the tour is undetermined and will be announced once finalized.

 

Spring 2023 dates for this session are:


  • Wednesday, January 25
  • Wednesday, February 22
  • Wednesday, March 29
  • Wednesday, April 26
  • Wednesday, May 31
  • Wednesday, June 28

There will be a graduation session at the end of the course.

The program is free and space is limited to 60 participants. The popular program runs from 9: a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Terrebonne General Medical Center Atrium Auditorium. Interested?
