On Thursday, Nov. 2, from 6-8 p.m., Nicholls State University President Jay Clune and his wife Allison Clune will join the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities in celebrating the release of 64 Parishes magazine’s newest issue at Arlen B. Cenac Greenhouse on Nicholls’ campus. The issue, which is on stands now, looks at calamities and catastrophes in Louisiana and how the state confronted events like floods, fires, and, in the cover story, the financial fiasco of the 1984 World’s Fair.
