Every Labor Day weekend, we honor the two industries that built our community during a five-day celebration! Our 89th Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival will take place Thursday, August 29th through Monday, September 2nd.

Carnival: Open Thursday through Monday, you can find an assortment of Mitchell Brothers Amusement Carnival rides for all ages.
Children’s area open on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00-5:00pm offering bounce houses, face painting, and games FREE of charge.
Arts & Crafts: Under the elevated Hwy. 90 bridge, you can find more than 100 vendors offering unique items (i.e., handcrafted jewelry, woodworks, etc.). You can find more information here.
Saturday morning participate in 5K Run/Walk benefiting 100 Black Men of St. Mary Parish. Saturday morning at 11:00am, children will parade around Lawrence Park on decorated scooters, bikes and wagons.
Sunday at 8:30am attend a unique mass in Lawrence Park honoring the shrimping and petroleum industries. Blessing of the Fleet is Sunday from 10:00am until noon on Berwick Bay. Join us on the Berwick docks to toast the King and Queen. Sunday at 3:00pm, our royalty parades the streets.
Sunday night at 9:00pm, Fireworks will blast into the sky over the Berwick Bay. Tune into KQKI 95.3FM for synchronized music.
Beginning Friday night through Monday night, we have lots of music (from Country to Cajun to Cover bands) in Lawrence Park for you to enjoy.
