The Cancer Center’s signature fundraising event benefiting patients and families in the Bayou Region is back and in person for the first time since 2019. On January 13, 2023, The Gala Goes to Mardi Gras – bringing an unforgettable experience paying homage to our carnival culture in South Louisiana.

Guests will gather at Mardi Gras Hall in downtown Houma to enjoy delicious food, creative cocktails, and a beautiful silent auction. In addition, a Royal Krewe will be announced in the weeks prior to the event. Four men and four women will fundraise in the community and the man and woman who raise the most money for Terrebonne General | Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center will be crowned King and Queen of The Gala during the event. The Gala Goes to Mardi Gras is not to be missed!
