On February 20, 2022, shortly before 11pm, while working the Krewe of Aquarius parade, Houma Police officers observed two groups of subjects involved in an altercation. Prior to addressing the confrontation, several shots were fired. As a result of the gunshots, the groups involved in the altercation fled on foot.
