Four suspects are charged by the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office for their alleged roles in a string of burglaries during the Thanksgiving holidays.

On Nov. 20, authorities said five residential burglaries took place – all on Gabreten Lane in Thibodaux.

During investigation, authorities learned that the victims were all college students who were home for the holidays. They all returned home from the break and learned that their apartments had been burglarized.

Among the items reported stolen were firearms, jewelry, tools, TVs and other electronic items.

Authorities studied the incidents and learned that Kobe Underwood and Amanda Domangue had recently been evicted from their apartment on Gabreten Lane.

The two were taken into custody for questioning and during questioning, they allegedly admitted to their roles in the incidents.

As authorities continued to investigate, they also learned that Isaac Martines and Xavier McGuire, who are friends of Underwood and Domangue, had also participated in the burglaries.

Underwood and Domangue were taken to the Terrebonne Parish Jail and were booked on five counts of simple burglary for their roles in the incident.

Authorities also obtained and executed multiple search warrants in which a lot of the stolen items were returned back to the victims in the cases.

As the investigation continued, authorities were able to locate Martines and McGuire, taking both in for questioning.

During questioning, both suspects allegedly admitted to their roles in the burglaries, which led to their arrests – each charged with five counts of simple burglary.

The suspects were given a $30,000 bond.

At press-time on Monday afternoon, McGuire and Underwood remained in custody, while Martines and Domangue had posted bail. •
