A Schriever woman is in custody of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office after a burglary at a local automobile dealer.

Deputies responded to the Wholesale Autoplex on West Main Street on November 29, 2019 where a burglary was reported.

A deputy viewed video of the burglary, which included images of a Nissan Juke driven by a female suspect.

Video of the incident was distributed to the public via social media.

The patrol deputy recalled a similar vehicle being involved in a shoplifting case on Nov. 28, and further information was developed by the deputy and it was confirmed that the suspect was Lauren Cancienne, 41, of Schriever.

She was arrested on November 29 on a charge of felony burglary. She’s held on a $5,000 bond.
