The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person(s) responsible for stealing a boat and trailer from a Golden Meadow business last month.
On Feb. 26, deputies responded to a report of a stolen boat and trailer at Tiffony’s Bait and Seafood in Golden Meadow.
The items were taken sometime between Feb. 25 and Feb. 26 in the overnight hours.
Authorities reviewed surveillance footage from the area and discovered that the suspect was a white male with short hair and glasses. He was driving an older model, light-colored Ford truck at the time of the incident.
The boat is custom made and camouflage in design. The trailer is described as having two poles mounted on the back with mounted lights.
There were also several hand-made minnow cages in the boat.
LPSO is asking for public help in this case. Any information which leads to an arrest can also net someone a $1,000 reward.
