A victim was shot in Downtown Houma, following a physical altercation.
The victim was able to be stabilized on the scene, and his injuries were considered non-life-threatening.
It is not known if there is a suspect in custody at this time. The Times has contacted the Houma Police Department and will update, as needed.
The shooting took place after the downtown festival Juice Fest and was not on the festival’s grounds.
