Lafourche Parish District Attorney Kristine Russell announced that three convicted drug dealers have pled guilty recently in court.

Saul Cheramie, 35, pled guilty as part of a negotiated plea deal to possession with intent to distribute meth, felon in possession of a firearm and illegal possession of stolen things.

He has been sentenced to 9 years in prison.


Tierrance Tucker, 28, pled guilty as part of a plea deal to possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of cocaine.

He has been sentenced to 3 years in prison.

Kenneth Chambers, 38, of Raceland, pled guilty as part of a plea deal to distribution of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and possession of Klonopin.


He was sentenced to three, 10-year sentences that will be served concurrently and two, 5-year sentences that will be served concurrently.

The 10-year sentence and the 5-year sentence will be served consecutively.
