Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Jerry Larpenter announced that a father and son have been arrested on multiple drug-related charges.

Authorities said the Terrebonne Narcotics Agents started an investigation based on multiple tips from concerned citizens about suspicious activity in the area.

Narcotics agents received information that Tony Authement, 40, and his son Trey Authement, 19, were involved in the distribution of illegal narcotics.

Authorities also learned that some of this was allegedly occurring in Terrebonne.

The investigation resulted in Narcotics Agents obtaining a search warrant for a residence located at 430 T-Leigh Drive in Houma.

Agents were assisted by TPSO’s K-9 deputies at the time of the search, which took place on Sept. 25.

Authorities said both the father and son were located inside the residence when the search warrant was executed and the following items were recovered during this search warrant:

3. Two Xanax pills ($10 street value)

5. A plastic bag containing 18 and a half Viagra pills ($92.50 street value)

6. $24,200 in U.S. currency

7. Assorted paraphernalia items, including digital scales and plastic bags.

As a result of the investigation, both suspects were taken into custody on the following charges: possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of Xanax, possession of Suboxone, three counts of possession of a legend drug, transactions involving drug proceeds, possession of drug paraphernalia.
