The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office has released a list of party sites for the 34th Annual National Night Out Against Crime, which takes place on Tuesday, Aug. 1.

According to LPSO, more than a dozen block party sites will be stationed throughout the parish and each will have food, fun and games.

The block parties will begin at 6 p.m. and will end around 9. A National Night Out Against Crime parade will also be held in the Raceland area, beginning at the U.S. Highway 90 Fire Station – continuing through the streets of the Sugar Land Subdivision.

At each site, LPSO deputies will be on-hand to speak with residents about neighborhood crime concerns.

LPSO is providing the food for the events. In addition, POST 323 Explorers will be on-hand, offering free child fingerprinting and DNA swabbing, which authorities can then use to help personal safety in the parish.

Each party will have fun for both adults and children.
