Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced this week that a reward is being offered for information which leads to the arrest of the suspect(s) responsible for a drive-by shooting this past weekend in Raceland.

At around 10:40 p.m. on Feb. 8, deputies were called to a shooting scene in the 500 block of Greenville Street in Raceland.

A man, woman and two children said they’d just returned home and were inside their home when they heard shots.

Authorities investigated and discovered several bullet holes in their home, as well as the vehicle outside.

The investigation into the shooting is continuing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers Bayou Region at 1-800-743-7433. Tipsters can remain anonymous and information which leads to an arrest can net a $1,000 cash reward.

Authorities say after preliminary investigation, they do not believe this shooting is connected to the Sunday night murder of Alton Adams in Lockport.
