Woman arrested for charges of Simple Burglary and Possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, as well as additional unrelated charges.

Kennet Calderon Matus, 38, of Houma, was arrested for Third Degree Rape and Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile, in connection with the investigation.

The bodies were discovered shortly before noon on Sunday, April 30, inside a home in the 200 block of St. Peter Street in Houma. 

While no arrests have yet been made, detectives have made progress in the investigation.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of a Lockport man for allegedly sending lewd text messages and photos to a 13-year-old girl. Scott Boudreaux Jr., 19, was arrested on Thursday.

A Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries enforcement agent cited two Houma men for alleged oyster fishing violations on April 26 in Terrebonne Parish.

Triston Butler has been taken into custody at approximately 8:40am on April 27th, 2023.

WANTED:: Anox Smith, 18years old, and Triston Butler, 18 years old, both have a warrant for the charge of Second Degree Murder. Both suspects are from East Houma and this is still an active investigation.

16-year-old identified by HPD in Monday's homicide investigation.

HPD located a 16-year-old male who was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of the shooting.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of a Bayou Blue couple for cruelty to a juvenile. Ray Matherne Jr., 27, and Amber Doiron, 28, were arrested on Friday after juvenile detectives were called to a head start location regarding a child who arrived with a black eye that had been covered by makeup, as well as marks on the neck and arm.

Travis Orso was found guilty of 2nd Degree Murder. He murdered the victim, Dione Cheramie, by drowning her in Bayou Lafourche near Cut Off in 2020.

Leo Kimber alleged that he was walking in a local neighborhood when he was approached and shot by suspects that were in a passing vehicle. After further investigation and reviewing the video surveillance of the business, officers determined that the suspect shot himself while seated within a vehicle in the back seat.

On Thursday, April 20th, 2023, shortly before 1:00 p.m., Narcotics Investigators with the Thibodaux Police Department conducted an undercover “Operation Full Service” at a local Massage Parlor in the 100 block of Talbot Avenue. Xiuli Sun was arrested for Prostitution by Massage.

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet announced the arrest of 2 men in a series of vehicle burglary investigations, in the Broadmoor and Lisa Park neighborhoods of Terrebonne Parish. Collin Tribe, 20, and Malik Williams, 20, both of Houma, have been charged with multiple vehicle burglaries in connection with the investigation.
