Thibodaux Chief of Police Bryan Zeringue announced the arrest of a Juvenile (B/M, 13), of Thibodaux, LA for Aggravated Assault With A Firearm (Felony), Unlawful Disruption of the Operation of a School (Felony) & Illegal Possession of a Handgun by a Juvenile (Felony).

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced a second man has been arrested in an armed robbery incident in July 2023 in which the victims were lured by a Facebook ad. Blake Chiasson Jr., 21, of Thibodaux was arrested on Tuesday. Darius Walter, 20, of Thibodaux had been arrested on the day of the incident.

The subject is a suspect in an active theft investigation being conducted by the Thibodaux Police Department.

The student was charged after being identified as the singer in a rap song uploaded to YouTube last week that contained threats of violence to individuals at the school.

This evening, members of the Thibodaux Police Department Criminal Investigations Division along with an abundant amount of assistance from the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, was able to follow leads and successfully locate and arrest of Kevinontae Ross, of Houma.

An arrest warrant for Quintemese Marzell was obtained for Attempted 2nd degree murder, Obstruction of Justice, Simple burglary, Felony Criminal Damage to Property, and Stalking.

Both Gregory Trosclair and Meghan Boudreaux were taken into custody without incident, and each were charged with one count of Terrorizing.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of a Raceland man for a shooting incident on Saturday. Charles Gale, 41, has been arrested on charges including attempted murder.

TPSO make arrest following Special Victim’s Unit (SVU) investigation into a complaint of sexual abuse from a 13-year-old victim

On October 8, 2023, shortly before 8:00 p.m., Louisiana State Police Troop C began investigating a single-vehicle fatality crash involving a pedestrian on Louisiana Highway 57 near Redmond Road. The crash claimed the life of 33-year-old Arturo Cruz-Tetzanquila of Houma. 

TPSO Patrol Division and Detectives are investigating the incident.

TPSO Detectives have arrested Jacob Luke Jr, 18, of Dulac, and Heather Luke, 37, of Chauvin, on multiple charges in connection with Friday's shooting that occurred at the Houma Sam’s Club.

Several shots were reportedly fired near Thibodaux High School on Friday night. Following the report of shots fired, there was a medical incident involving a student-athlete. This incident was unrelated to the reported shots.

A Purse Snatching incident was taking place in the parking lot of Sam’s when a good Samaritan attempted to intervene. As a result, the Samaritan was shot by the perpetrator, who fled the area on foot.

Danny Joseph Arceneaux, 57, was arrested on charges of First-Degree Rape and Aggravated Crimes against Nature, in connection with the investigation.
