A 52-year-old man is in custody of the Thibodaux Police Department after he allegedly raped female juveniles from 2008-2016.

On March 11, a juvenile victim approached her mother, the ex-girlfriend of Troy Hunt, 52, of 1274 St. Charles St., Lot O, Thibodaux.

The victim allegedly told the mother that when Hunt lived with the family, he would touch she and her sister inappropriately.

Authorities investigated and learned that Hunt and the two victims’ mother dated and lived together from 2008-2016. During that time, authorities said it was discovered that the suspect inappropriately touched and vaginally penetrated both juvenile victims with his hand on multiple occasions.

Investigators also learned that the suspect had oral, vaginal and anal sex with one of the juvenile victims.

On March 29, Hunt was arrested by the TPD, who took him to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center.

He is charged with first-degree rape and sexual battery.

He’s held on a $375,000 bond.
