A Mississippi man is accused of robbing a woman, then forcing her to strip, before fleeing the scene.

On Sept. 25 at 8:45 p.m., the Houma Police Department’s uniform patrol was called to a report of armed robbery on the Main Street Side of the Twin Span nearest to Terrebonne General.

Upon arrival, authorities made contact with a 28-year-old woman who told the officers that she was walking on the main street overpass when she was approached by a man armed with a semi-automatic handgun.

The suspect placed the weapon to her head and loaded a round into the chamber, demanding all of her property.

The woman gave the man her belongings and he then told her to remove her shirt, bra, shoes and socks. After she did, the suspect fled the scene on foot.

Officers received information that the suspect was near TGMC, so officers responded in an attempt to locate him.

An extensive search of the area was conducted and at 10:30 p.m., the suspect was located hiding under a camper trailer in the 800 block of High Street.

The suspect, identified as Kendrick Lamar Davis Jr., 18, of Greenville, Mississippi, was taken into custody without incident.

He is charged with armed robbery.
