The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for the people responsible for an armed robbery at the Jubilee Casino on La. Highway 20 in Schriever.

Authorities said on Tuesday morning at around 1:42 a.m., deputies and detectives were called to the business after a call of a robbery.

Upon arrival, deputies learned that the suspects had left the scene.

Through investigation, deputies learned that two suspects entered the casino – both with handguns.

One of the suspects struck the armed security guard behind the head prior to entering the front door.

The security guard was disarmed during the robbery, which allowed the suspects to take an undetermined amount of cash in the robbery.

No one else was injured in the incident and authorities said the suspects were wearing masks. They fled on foot heading toward Gibson.

Anyone with information concerning the armed robbery is asked to call TPSO at (985) 876-2500.

Tips which lead to an arrest may net a $1,000 reward.

Acadian Ambulance transported the security guard to a local hospital where was treated for a head injury, but released.
