The Thibodaux Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened this morning in the city.
At approximately 12:45 a.m., Thibodaux Police Officers patrolling downtown Thibodaux heard several shots. Police later discovered a scene in the 200 block of St. Louis Street where several shell casings were located.
There were no victims injured in the shooting, but a nearby business was struck.
TPD was called to the scene to process for evidentiary purposes.
The investigation is ongoing and TPD’s Criminal Investigations Division is actively following up on leads.
