Thibodaux Chief of Police Bryan Zeringue announced that the Thibodaux Police Department is working a sex crime investigation, where the suspect remains at large.


Thus far, the December 21, 2020 investigation, has led the Thibodaux Police Department Criminal Investigations Division to obtain warrants for Ronald Tyler Jr. (B/M DOB 7/7/1980), for the violation of Louisiana Revised Statutes 14:42 First Degree Rape (Felony), 14:62.8 Home Invasion (Felony) & 14:95.1 Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (Felony) with a total bond of $750,000.00. Mr. Tyler is also wanted for an outstanding 17th JDC Warrant for a Failure to Appear Bench Warrant with a bond amount of $10,000.00.
