A 37-year-old Schriever woman is in custody of the Thibodaux Police after she allegedly used a stun gun into a victim’s genitalia, then violently resisted arrest.

On Jan. 14 at approximately 2:18 a.m., TPD officers said they witnessed Nadira Tardieff, 37, of 300 A Isle of Cuba Road, Schriever, yelling at someone inside of a vehicle, while in the parking lot of a motel on North Canal Boulevard.

Authorities said the yelling drew the attention of customers at a local fast food restaurant across the street from the motel.

Authorities approached the suspect and tried to calm her down, but she refused and was placed under arrest.

While being detained, Tardieff allegedly resisted violently, sinking her fingernails into the arm of the escorting officer, ripping flesh from his arm. Authorities then get her into the police car, and the victim allegedly said she attacked the officer on purpose and that they “were lucky that was all she did.”

After getting the suspect in custody, authorities investigated the scene and started to learn what happened.

TPD learned that Tardieff had attacked the person she was yelling at while the victim was inside of her motel room.

TPD says the victim had a stun gun, and stunned the victim several times in several body parts, including in the genitalia.

Police recovered the stun gun from Tardieff’s possession upon her arrest.

The suspect is charged with aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon, disturbing the peace, resisting an officer with force or violence and battery of a police officer.

She is held in the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on a $21,000 bond.
