The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office received a domestic violence complaint on February 20, resulting in the arrest of a 34-year-old Houma man in connection with the beating of his 62-year-old stepfather.

Detectives learned that during verbal argument between the victim (the stepfather) and the stepfather’s spouse, the stepson became involved. The stepson struck his stepfather, who sustained injuries that included facial fractures and lacerations. The victim had been treated at a local hospital and was then removed to a facility elsewhere for special medical treatment related to the crime.

Information and evidence resulted in the arrest of the stepson, Adam Corey Clark. Clark was booked at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex for 2nd degree battery, which is a felony.  He remains incarcerated in lieu of a $30,000 bond.
