Details remain spotty, but the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office has confirmed to The Times that there was a shooting today in Houma at The Landings Apartments.
TPSO said the scene is secured by deputies and there is no remaining damage to the public.
TPSO Public Information Office John DeSantis said units arrived on the scene around noon after calls of shots fired.
TPSO is actively investigating the incident and will release more information as it becomes available.
